Roger S. Reiss
Engineer / Consultant / Columnist, has spent his career in both the commercial and defense industry as a mechanical and optomechanical engineer in the field of Instrument Design. Roger was involved with the design, development, fabrication, and testing (including alignment) of numerous and various instruments. Roger received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from M.I.T. (1955). Roger was also an instructor and lecturer on various facets of Instrument Design. Roger was a columnist and contributing editor for a monthly technical newspaper, "OEReports" (1987-2000). Roger organized the Optomechanical Instrument Technical Group for the SPIE (1985) and is a life-time SPIE Fellow member (1990). Roger won the SPIE Presidents Award (2000) for his contribution to the field of Optomechanical Engineering. Roger is presently a semi retired consultant.

Jason Desrosiers
Design Engineer / Product Specialist has spent more than ten years designing, assembling, aligning, calibrating, testing, and servicing optomechanical devices and instruments. Has worked with a wide range of instruments including spectrographs, spectrometers, ellipsometers, optical spectrum analyzers, and photometers. Has attended a number of courses in optics and optomechanical design. Currently employed by industry leader as a product specialist / trainer for a line of precision microplate instrumentation.
