Interferometer, Phase Shift, Measuring
Saturday, September 09, 2006
A Phase Shift Measuring Interferometer of the Shack Cube type has been designed and developed consisting of a mounted cube assembly and a CCD Camera with a piezoelectric driver. The entire Interferometer, except for the laser, is driven by the Piezoelectric in a series of 90-degree phase steps. The intensity of the interference pattern is measured at each step. The software calculates the phase of the wavefront at each pixel of the photodetector array. This photodetector information can be presented in a number of different output formats on a display monitor.
